In 2002, five women in St. George got the idea to rescue and re-home cats and dogs that were scheduled to be euthanized, due to lack of space in shelters…and PAWS (Providing Animals with Support) was born! PAWS is now a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, no-kill animal rescue organization that relies solely on donations and volunteers. Since 2002, we’ve rescued over 20,000 cats and dogs.
