LAS VEGAS!

Las Vegas Sign 1           LV Adoption Center

It’s all the same great things you love about P.A.W.S. in St. George, UT …but with a few more sequins!!

 Who are we?

We are dedicated crew of volunteers who want to help you find just the right addition to your family. In Las Vegas we primarily handle cats, but can still help you find a dog if that is what you are looking for.

How does the adoption process work?

If there is a volunteer in the Adoption Center, please knock and they’ll be glad to help you out.  If the door is locked and there isn’t a volunteer handy, please go to an open cash register and ask for a manager to unlock the Adoption Center. If a Manager lets you in and you are interested in a cat, they can assist you with completing an application.

Once you complete an Adoption Application, it will be faxed for review. A volunteer will contact you within 24 hours to discuss your application and arrange a time to finalize the adoption. Don’t worry, though, the cat will be placed on pending for you so you don’t have to worry about losing out. A back up application will be accepted for any cat that is pending. This allows us to contact you if the primary application doesn’t work out.

Please email questions to infolv@dixiepaws.org, or call the P.A.W.S. Las Vegas Adoption Line at (702) 387-7228.

PAWS Announces New Low Cost Spay/Neuter Program!

Beginning August 17, P.A.W.S. will be offering a low cost spay/neuter program to the public. There are no restrictions, but we hope that people with a good income will not apply and let the other less fortunate pet-owners take advantage of this program. The cost for dogs is $50 and $40 for cats (extra fee for dogs over 60 lbs, extra fee if animal is in heat or pregnant). All owners must have proof of their pets rabies and distemper vaccines. If they are not current on vaccines, they can be vaccinated on the day of their appointment at the owners expense.

For more information or to make an appointment, please call the P.A.W.S. office at 435-688-9748. Please take advantage of these low prices so that you can be part of the solution and not part of the problem of pet overpopulation! Remember this program is open to the public…no rescue groups or ferals please!
